I generally love all of Lisa Jewell’s books, but this was my least favorite so far…don’t worry…I won’t give up on her! I am finding this one a little confusing. I think this is a “read in one sitting” kind of book, because I had to look back and reread a lot….and, there were a lot of ancillary characters to keep track of…I don’t even remember what this book was about upon reflection.

Lisa Jewell is top notch in the field of psychological thrillers (probably my favorite genre – love all of those dark twists and turns). This was a 2-day read for me – I couldn’t put it down. I also love her settings in mysterious houses and properties in the English countryside. Stuart may be the dumbest character I have read about in quite a while. If you like the genre, you must read it.
