Let’s talk the Over/Under on the Oscars! Helen saw every film nominated. Imagine that!
Helen says: What a weird year for the Oscars…the films just get weirder and weirder…I liked Anora, Conclave and The Brutalist. I tolerated A Real Pain and A Complete Unknown. I loathed Emilia Perez and The Substance. I never saw Wicked, but saw it on Broadway…Here are my predictions:
Best Picture- Conclave
Best Actor- Adrien Brody – The Brutalist
Best Actress- Mikey Madison- Anora
Best Supporting Actor- Kiernan Culkin- A Real Pain
Best Supporting Actress- Zoe Saldana – Emilia Perez
Best Director- Brady Corbet- The Brutalist
Holly says: Well I saw Conclave and Wicked. Not sure why I did not see more movies. I really wanted to see The Brutalist. I loved Conclave and thought the acting was the best I have seen in years – superstar cast led by Ralph Fiennes. I also loved Wicked – especially Cynthia Erivo! I saw it on Broadway, but actually liked the movie better.
