Happy 3rd Birthday to Helen and Holly Hit the Books! Can you believe it? We sure have fun. After 3 years, one may ask where we keep coming up with interesting content for our Tidbits. Sometimes it is a struggle, so we look for inspiration.

If you do not follow Marilyn Rush and her instagram site @holdmyhandhelds, you are surely missing out my friend! Marilyn is in search of the best sandwich in Wilmington, NC. Her commentary is laugh out loud hilarious and her posts are drool worthy. She has her finger on the pulse of every food truck, dive restaurant and hoagie chain in the area. I will don her the Countess of the Lower Cape Fear Sandwich!
I am also really enjoying the game Connections on NYT crossword app- not to be confused with “missed connections” on Craigslist. My cousins introduced me to that a few years ago…good lord! I like to start my morning with coffee, do wordle, mini crossword and connections (saving the best for last)…I am in a contest with Lillian and Jean. It is one of the highlights of my day!
Holly says:
I am really enoying mah jongg – with friends and on-line. Try “I Love Mahj”. It is tons of fun – and the game is so pretty. It is similar to a cross between Bridge and Rummikub. Take it up – it’s super fun!
I love the NY Times games also – Wordle, Connections, Spelling Bee, Quordle, Tiles. Maybe more productive than surfing Instagram for videos – although that is pretty entertaining too – I love a funny video – people are quite witty!
And I still love Pilates – it’s like therapy!
And as always, I love Jeopardy!
