This was also funny and sarcastic (like The Wedding People), but not quite as memorable. In fact, I read it so long ago that I don’t even remember it and am relying on my notes for this review. About the aftermath of being dumped, it was a little downtrodden and depressing in parts. I did enjoy all of the British colloquialisms though…and it had a tidy, happy(ish) ending.

I really liked this book. It’s about the end of a relationship, depressing in some ways, but uplifting in others. Kind of like a male version of Bridget Jones’ Diary. The character development is excellent, and things (and people) are not always what they seem. This is a quick and entertaining read.
