Do you ever wish your husband would read a book on vacation too? If so, this is the one. It has murder, mystery, toxic masculinity (jk) and kinky sex. There’s a lot to unpack in this book, but you are dying to find out what happens. It reminds me of one of Nelson DeMille’s books starring detective John Corey. This is a backlisted paper back. I am surprised this book didn’t get more attention when it came out. It was a great story. Fun to listen to on audible for your next road trip!

I really liked this book! Fast-paced, entertaining, and a super fun read. Lots of sub-plots to keep you guessing about how this one will all come together and how it will end. Very enjoyable. I will definitely be reading more of Charlie Donlea’s books. I like the masculinity of this book – it reminds me of Nelson DeMille (whom I love!).
